Kids Yoga 

Kay's Kids Yoga classes started at public schools in rural Newfoundland with Kindergarten students all the way to preteens and teens.  Edge Yoga Kids classes are full of yoga poses, breath work, songs, fables, games and fitness!  At the end of each session we relax with simple stories and meditation. 

 

Teen Yoga 

 

Aside from the physical benefits, yoga teaches teens techniques for

coping with the unique issues they're faced with everyday—insecurity

about their changing bodies, the enormous pressure to fit in, stressful

schedules, and uncertainty about their beliefs and their futures.

Kay is available to teach private group classes with specialized games and exercised for every age group from toddlers to teens; even for children with special needs.  No need to have yoga mats... we can improvise.   Contact me to find out about my group fees.

 

I am also experienced teaching at public schools daycares, and groups like boys groups and Summer Camps for children - I will even be teaching at a camp for children battling cancer in August 2013.

 

 

I also help celebrate Birthdays and other occasions with fabulous yoga parties.  Moms are always amazed to watch the kids go from silly to calm.

Summer Camp & March Break Camp 9-12am
 Yoga practice, nature activities, movement, meditation crafts and music $195.00 $25.00 discount for each additional sibling. . Camp will be held in the sweet private sanctuary of Edge Yoga headquarters and neighburhood green spaces in Algoma. Indoor & outdoor yoga & play will be easily accessible for all. A Typical Day:
8.45am – drop-off
9am – Yoga
10am – snack time
10.30am – Creative Exploration
11.30am – Mindfulness Activities
12pm – Lunch
1.00pm – Silent Journal time
1.30pm – Yoga, Nature, and Mindfulness Activities
3.00pm – Closing Activities
3.30pm – Pick-up
