Pilates

 
Pilates is a gentle, but extremely effective training method for body and spirit. This systematic body training was invented and developed by Joseph H. Pilates.
                                                                                            Pilates changes your shape by working the core and educating you in daily life. There is an attention required (in doing the exercises) that changes your awareness even after class. When you're cooking, brushing your teeth -- the lessons are coming home to pull your stomach in and pull your shoulders down. Class can help make you aware of that chronic tweak in the neck you get from sitting at the computer all day with rounded shoulders and a phone cradled between ear and shoulder.
                                                                                                    Pilates teaches you how to train your mind and build symmetry and coordination in the body.  Single muscles and muscle parts are specifically activated, relaxed or  stretched.  The quality of movement and not the quantity is what matters and breath is coordinated with the moves.

Pilates Matwork 11am Sundays,   Mondays 9:30am, 6:15pm, Tuesdays 6:15pm Thursdays, 9:30am

 

Mom & Baby Pilates Mondays at 12pm

 

 

Kids Pilates 12:00pm Sundays, 5:00pm Wednesdays.  Teen Pilates 1:15pm Saturdays

 

Prenatal Pilates  Mondays at 2:00pm,, Thursdays at 5pm, Fridays at 10:30am
