Kay's Yoga

Kay (Kimberley) is a certified yoga instructor that returned to Ontario in 2012 from Newfoundland where she was the leader of the mind-body fitness movement on the Burin Peninsula! Kay has an infectious passion for yoga and she spreads it with her unique combination of intuitively selected sequences and joyful energy.  Kay's yoga blends the old with the new; students are taught to ride the breath and open the body while building stillness, strength, balance and flexibility.  She also encourages her students to experience joy in their practice and to always leave room for play, laughter, exploration and fun! Kay has taught yoga and meditation in her unique intuitive style to professionals, government agencies, children, single parents, seniors, teens and even children.

Thank you SO much for the Friday night class. I LOVED IT !!! So excited about this Friday.I came out of (class that) night with a such positive energy. I felt like I could do anything. LoL. I was up early the next morning and had lots of energy. I even got a 45min workout in before 10am. That NEVER happens. I'm not a morning person at all!

Kay is my inspiration! I learned a lot from her with our yoga practice. I still do yoga every day and it has helped me to stay balanced and strong. I am very grateful to have had her guidance in my practice.

Before I started Kimberley's classes again I was suffering from a very painful case of carpel tunnel syndrome.  I was attending weekly chiropractic and massage appointments and taking medication, but nothing was helping my wrists.  Since I re-started yoga my wrists have greatly improved; I have reduced my  treatments to once a month, and I no longer need medication!
The yoga breathing technique even guided me through labour!

My back is feeling so much better since I began your classes, before I started yoga I had a lot of pain that gave me trouble sleeping at night.  If it helps me sleep I know it's a good thing!

"Come to the edge."
"We can't. We're afraid."
"Come to the edge."
"We can't. We will fall!"
"Come to the edge."
And they came.
And he pushed them.
And they flew.
